ingredients
- 2 16oz packages of firm tofu
- 1 lb. of broccoli
- 3 large cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce, divided
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
method
Step 1
Drain the packages of tofu. Wrap each block of tofu in a paper towel and pat dry. Cut the tofu into 3/4-inch cubes.
Step 2
In a large wok, heat the oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the tofu, taking care to avoid the oil splattering. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. Saute, stirring roughly every minute until the moisture has evaporated and the tofu has lightly browned on all sides.
Step 3
Add in the broccoli, minced garlic, crushed red pepper, hoisin sauce, and the remaining soy sauce. Stir until the broccoli has lightly browned.
Step 4
