Ingredients
- 2 cups of lukewarm water
- 1 7g sachet of instant rise yeast
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk
- 16oz of bread flour
Method
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the lukewarm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it stand until it is foamy on top, about 5 minutes. Whisk in the condensed milk.
Step 2
Mix in the flour until a shaggy mixture forms.
Step 3
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, then shape it into a ball. Lightly grease the large bowl and place the ball of dough in it. Tightly cover it with plastic wrap and let it rise until it doubles in size (about 1 hour).

Lightly grease a 13×9 baking tray. Punch down the dough. Cut the dough into 3 equally sized portions and roll them out into ropes about 6-inches long. Divide each rope into 5 equally sized pieces.
