ingredients

  • 4 cups of water, divided
  • 1 tea bag of hibiscus tea
  • 4 basil leaves (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of chopped mango

method

Step 1

Pour 3 cups of boiling water over the hibiscus tea bag and basil leaves in a large pitcher. Let it steep for 10 minutes.

Step 2

While the tea steeps, blend the chopped mango with 1 cup of water until smooth and well-blended.

Step 3

After the tea has brewed for 10 minutes, remove the tea bag from the pitcher. Strain the mango juice and mix it into the tea. Stir in the sugar. Add ice to the pitcher.

Step 4

Pour the tea into individual glasses and serve.
